Toghairm
A downloadable game
This game is in early development.
A horror adventure based in the early 00's on my experience as a delinquent exploring abandoned buildings.
Controls
- WASD to Move
- Z (in the dark) to take out lighter
- F to inspect
- E to close menus and popups.
I've got quite a way to go and had originally planned to keep this game quiet and to myself until it was ready which I plan to release in October.
I've lost one laptop so far and am using an even older one that even though I cleaned it out still kinda screams at me all the time... so hopefully it lasts me until I can get a new one or at least finish this project.
I have to draw a few areas and make another pass on the character sprite, I got a song to write for the opening walk and I feel like I need to spend some more time on my audio as well. Then I have to add the actual horror, which I have all written and planned in my dev wiki so it's just a matter of drawing and coding some stuff at this point.
As I said it's pretty early, If you find any bugs let me know either in the comments or on Twitter if you could.
Thanks for checking it out.

Hello, I played this game and I liked it, although I wish you'd add a proper ending screen at least, cause I know it's in development and it's a demo/prototype but I was really confused if that's the end or not so if you could add like a 'To Be Continued' or something like that then it'd be great but over all it wasn't too bad, looking forward to the full game, good work :)
Stuck with the chat prologue. Been waiting for minutes this sucks man :(
Great Job with the game so far, I loved the whole 2000's aesthetic you were going for. And good luck on getting a new laptop, can't wait to see how this game develops. :D Here's my playthrough -
Thanks, I managed to bang together something that should hold me until I can get something more reliable... hopefully. Glad someone likes it, I hope to have it finished by October barring any further disruptions.
Cool, I'll be sure to give it another play in October. :D
